Foster
Rescue Rovers is a foster based rescue, our greatest need is foster families. Foster Families care for dogs in their home until adoption. They provide shelter, love, transportation to events and food for their foster dogs (we do often have food donations for fosters). Rescue Rovers provides all medical care, marketing and support, including discounted professional services such as photography, grooming, training, doggie day camp, etc.
The foster family’s role is to prepare a dog for adoption. Each dog has different needs, and our fosters adapt to meet those needs. The ideal candidate is dog-savvy, patient and loving. They are available to take dogs to adoption events at least once per month and to medical appointments when necessary (usually 1-2 medical visits per dog).
