In Home Adoptions

At Rescue Rovers our goal is to match the right dog to the right family. We take 3 applications on each dog and meet with all 3 before we decide which home is the best fit.
To start, fill out an application
here. If you are interested in a specific dog please be sure to list him or her on your application!
Once your application has been submitted it will be reviewed by a member of our apps team. Someone will reach out to you within 48 hours to let you know the status of your application.
Your approved application will then be sent to the foster family of the dog(s) you’d like to meet. They will be in touch and will set up a meet and greet. The foster family will choose the adopter they think is the best fit – usually the dog tells them!
If you are not chosen please don’t be discouraged! Our process is designed to benefit both dogs and humans! Your application is good for 6 months and we are happy to help you find another dog to love. If you see a dog you’d like to meet you can call our main line at 435-565-4031 or email adopt@rescuerovers.org.

Event Adoptions

We have regular adoption events on the first and third Saturday of every month and special events in-between. You can find our events advertised on our Facebook pageDogs adopted at events are available to go home the same day*. Adoption events are a great way to meet multiple dogs and see who will be the best fit for your family. Foster parents are often on hand to ask questions of.

Apply online before the event to help your adoption go as smoothly as possible. Bring all members of your family – especially the furry ones! It helps us make sure your new dog is a good fit.

*we reserve the right to require an in-home meet and greet or deny applications.

Adoption Fee

The adoption fee helps us insure that every dog adopted through Rescue Rovers is prepared for their forever home. We vaccinate, spay/neuter, and microchip all of our dogs. Adoption cost varies by age. Here at Rescue Rovers we believe training is important for all dogs, but especially for puppies! If you adopt a puppy two years old or younger and complete a training course within the first 3 months, we offer a $50 reimbursement of your adoption fee. Email your training certificate to training@rescuerovers.org. You save a little money and your puppy learns some valuable skills – everybody wins!

Puppies - Up to 2 years

Rad Rover

I came here 11/26/2017 and honestly, I just love it. But this isn't my forever home. I am smart and sweet and loving! I know how to potty outside, how to relax in my crate, how to walk nicely on leash. I also know how to sit, stay, shake, give high-5's and more. I am mellow but also fun. I fetch and act silly with toys. I am adorable. I am looking for a calmer home with older kids and no other pets
