Foster
Rescue Rovers is a foster based rescue, our greatest need is foster families. Foster Families care for dogs in their home until adoption. They provide shelter, love, transportation to events and food for their foster dogs (we do often have food donations for fosters). Rescue Rovers provides all medical care, marketing and support, including discounted professional services such as photography, grooming, training, doggie day camp, etc.
The foster family’s role is to prepare a dog for adoption. Each dog has different needs, and our fosters adapt to meet those needs. The ideal candidate is dog-savvy, patient and loving. They are available to take dogs to adoption events at least once per month and to medical appointments when necessary (usually 1-2 medical visits per dog). Volunteer Opportunities
Rescue Rovers is an all-volunteer rescue. Volunteers make it possible for us to save thousands of dogs annually. Financial compensation is not offered, however a good-karma benefits package is standard with all Rescue Rovers positions. To apply, please email rescueroversmandy@gmail.com.
Dog Listing Facilitator
Help Rescue Rovers effectively market our dogs online by creating a digital file for each dog.
The person filling this position will transfer data from a spreadsheet style database to our listing software.
This is your opportunity to work with an amazing group and contribute to our life saving work.
The ideal candidate will be computer savvy and able to spend 1-2 hours per week online using a non-mobile device.
Instagram Guru
Help Rescue Rovers effectively market our dogs through Instagram. Grow our account through consistent, fun and creative posting! This is your opportunity to work with an amazing group and contribute to our life saving work. The ideal candidate will be familiar with Instagram, hashtags and dogs and will be committed to posting 6-12 times per week.
